In 2004, six years after the events of Resident Evil 2 and 3, the Umbrella Corporation¡¯s secretive activities within Raccoon City have become a public affair. Resident Evil 4 is a third-person shooter action adventure survival horror game published and developed by Capcom. It is the sixth installment in the Resident Evil series. It was released in North America on January 11, 2005 for the Nintendo GameCube, and was later released in Japan on January 27, 2005 and in Europe on March 18, 2005.
