She was born in London to a Moroccan father and an Indian mother. She started her career as a VJ in Channel V in Mumbai, India. After shifting to UK, she became famous in the role of Bollywood actress Amber Gates in Footballers' Wives between 2004 and 2006 and in the ITV2 spin-off drama Footballers' Wives: Extra Time.
