Broadcast of the series is slated to begin in the fall, and an OVA is also in the works. Shin Ônuma (Negima OAVs) will direct the show. The announcement of the anime marks another milestone for this romantic drama series, which found popularity in the fan community quickly after its first release. The first ef game was released in December 2006, with a manga based on the game following soon after. The game has been praised for its cinematic elements and character depth.
