With an estimated 13,000,000 people seeing the movie in theaters, it would soon be announced that a second Naruto movie would be released the following Summer on August 6th, 2005. The success continued and on its premiere day, it was shown that Naruto the Movie 3, the very last movie from part 1 of the Naruto anime series that will be made, would be released in theaters the next Summer on August 5th, 2006. It can now safely be assumed that a Naruto movie will be released in Summer of 2007 featuring the updated characters from part 2 of the Naruto series.
