He battles the Dark Prince, who claims he should take his place as Prince (or King now that his father is dead) because the Dark Prince states "All that is yours, is rightfully mine! And mine, it will be!" After he has argued with the Dark Prince in his mind The Prince is told to leave him and accepts that not killing eventually leads to his own happiness. The Dark Prince is ultimately finished and gone for good. At the end Farah asks the Prince a question "One thing I don't get Prince how did you really know my name?" the Prince retells his adventure to Farah, thus ending The Sands of Time trilogy.
