Many fans believe that, due to the sheer popularity of Naruto thus far, at least 200 episodes will be made. At 1 episode per week, it is then clear that Naruto's life has just begun, and it has a healthy and long life ahead of it. Most think that we will see at least 3, if not more, years of brand new episodes. This includes only new episodes released in Japan. This then brings me to the issue of licensing.
