Description: Who are they?

Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) and Dr. Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies). He's a brilliant and intense young man who got himself thrown into prison in order to break his death row older brother out of it. She's an idealistic Doctor, the daughter of the Governor, who seems to be trying to atone for the wrongs of the world and her father's politics by working in the prison.

When is it on?

You can catch them on Prison Break, which airs on Fox on Mondays at 9pm.

Why Them?

I think the thing that strikes me most about this pairing is the intelligence of both characters, and the fact that I think they are both being taken unawares by their interest in each other. Sara and Michael are both keenly intelligence and to some degree I think that is working against them when it comes to each other. Michael is so focused on his plan, and the fact that he is actively trying to charm Sara as part of this plan, he isn't even noticing that he is actually starting to become interested in her for her. For Sara, she was keeping her distance from a "prisoner," yet also finding herself intrigued by this smart and intense young man, something Michael did intend from the start, and realizing that there is more to him then meets the eye. I can see them slipping under each other's radars, their interests piqued without them meaning to, and it's fascinating.

I have to admit, I didn't plan on shipping anyone. But dang them, they sucked me in! I saw the first two eps in their first airing, and didn't actually plan on continuing watching because it was too heavy for me, and too depressing. The whole prison thing and some of those guys in there *shudders* But I did like Michael and was intrigued by his plan, so I kept track of the show for a few eps via the net. And then, something I read about Sara/Michael intrigued me, someone's comments on them, and I had kind of liked them in the first couple of eps, so I went back and tried another ep and was hooked! I am just curious how much they are going to be able to do with this, considering he's in prison, she's not, and he's trying to break his brother and himself out of prison. I think it will be more of an emotional connection, it slipping through their defenses unwittingly, and I am looking forward to watching it.

In recent episodes, Michael has been growing close to Dr. Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies), the prison's attractive doctor. But don't expect much more than sexual tension in the near future, says Wentworth.

"I don't think you're going to see a scene where we're sweeping the cotton swabs off the table and getting down and dirty in the infirmary," he says, laughing.

Will the chemistry between your character and Sarah Wayne Callies' Prison Break doctor lead to any love scenes? It's a possibility, and God knows, Sarah is beautiful and brilliant. Will it take a turn for something more serious? It is network TV. Certain things go with the territory. I'll leave it at that.
